We are collectively facing an unprecedented global pandemic, created by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Clinical and organisational experience has shown that many lives can still be saved if those affected, and those responding on behalf of our communities, healthcare systems and countries, can be better prepared, informed and equipped.
This freely available, continually evolving resource has been created and developed by clinicians, international disaster responders and global industry leaders to address common gaps in knowledge and health system preparedness and response in a comprehensive and systematic way. These resources bring together Integrated Crisis Management (ICM), operational, tactical and strategic knowledge, alongside real-time clinical experience to form a single global resource.
This guidance is a direct result of global consultation and sharing of clinical experience from those dealing with the current pandemic. It is a genuine attempt to enhance the response and support those currently on the front-line of this crisis. As knowledge is created and validated, it will be shared as soon as practical to support the global COVID-19 pandemic response.
